About us
The Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies, a premier management institute of India, functioning under the aegis of Al-Ameen Educational Society (a nonprofit educational society with an illustrious background of 30 years in the fields of Medicine, Engineering, Arts & Science), has come up as a unique center of excellence in professional education, research, training and consultancy. From a very modest start, it has now acquired a commendable position as a premier institute under the affiliation of Bangalore University and the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The Institute, which was founded in 1994, caters to students from all walks of life and imparts the principles of management to the youth who hold the future of the country in their hands. The goal of the institute is to inspire these youth to blossom into managers, planners, decision makers and leaders of tomorrow.

Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies has been listed among the top ten institutes in South India and has been ranked second amongst the institutes in Bangalore by AIMA in ”Business India“ magazine, September 2000 issue. The Institute has again figured in the Outlook – MRDA Survey 2001 at the 48th position at the national level in the weekly magazine ”OUTLOOK“, 10th September 2001 issue.

At Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies, we pride ourselves on the quality of our courses and the unrivalled flexibility of our study methods, the turnout being excellent academic results. The first rank at the University, both for the BBM and the MBA courses were secured by the students of the Institute at the 37th convocation held during February 2002, besides a IV rank in MBA and several gold medals. Also at the 41st Annual convocation held by Bangalore University on 6th Jan. 2006, Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies Bagged the 1st and the 4th rank and Gold medals too.

Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies Corporate Relations and Placement Cell enables the students to access information and make creative career choices. It assists the students in planning their career and facilitates their entry into jobs, which interests them. The Institute guides the students to face interviews and participate in group discussions. The Placement Cell invites senior managers and successful consultants to share with student their rich experiences through expert lectures, question and answer sessions etc. It serves as a channel of communication between students and organization seeking management graduates. The placement cell also makes arrangements for organizations to recruit students on campus.

Campus

Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies, located at the heart of garden city, takes pride in its high quality infrastructure and state-of-art pedagogy. It has placed itself at the forefronts of new thinking and new developments in technology based teaching and learning, including the development and thoughtful use of information superhighway potential in its own educational and research activities.
